As of now, the 2080TI is the most powerful graphics card on the market, and it is the leading card in terms of Ray-Tracing performance. And this is purely from a performance perspective, you probably already know the price will be hefty, but it offers better performance for the price than the TITAN RTX.
The performance comes from the sheer number of Cuda cores and their clock speed. 4352 Cuda Cores at 1350MHz base & 1665MHz boost is significantly higher than what most graphics cards have to offer, especially RTX cards. With RTX tensor cores, it can accelerate machine learning tasks and if you utilize DLSS when gaming, you can expect a performance boost.
With a VRAM capacity of 11GB, we can see where the capacity to game at higher resolutions come from. Not only will this massive VRAM capacity help you in gaming, but video editors can also benefit from it. You can game free of those annoying stutters and freezes.
Design
The design of the ASUS ROG Strix RTX 2080 TI is fairly large among other 2080 TI’s. This is because of the ROG Strix design which has large cooling components such as the heatsink. Lengthwise, it comes in at 304.7 mm, always make sure your case has enough clearance before purchasing a graphics card. For the outputs, it has 2 HDMI 2.0B and 2 DisplayPort 1.4 ports, and it has a maximum resolution output of 7680×4320(8K).

Performance
The RTX 2080 SUPER is close in performance to the 2080TI and it surpasses its successor(RTX 2080) in performance. Basically, this is the second most powerful GPU you can buy and the price is much more affordable compared to the 2080 TI. It has a higher clock speed at 1650 MHz base and 1860 MHz boost compared to the RTX 2080TI but it has less Cuda and Tensor cores.
Gaming at 4K should also be pretty straight forward with this GPU with 8GB of VRAM, you should expect minimal to no stuttering at 4K. Honestly, 8GB will last you well into the future, beyond 2020, so you shouldn’t worry about the VRAM capacity. The only concerns you should have are heavily modded games such as Minecraft or Skyrim, they use a lot of VRAM.
In terms of cooling, the ROG STRIX design does the job well. The design has been around for several generations, each generation getting better when it comes to cooling the graphics card. Temperatures at max load reach around 67C which is fairly decent.
Design
While the design is similar to the 2080TI, the SUPER comes shorter at 299.7mm making it easier to install in cases. It has a nice solid backplate for extra durability which also passively cools the card. Connectivity-wise, it has 2xHDMI & 2xDisplayPort Ports.

When it comes to RX 5700 XT’s, this is our best pick. It’s one of the best performing XT’s on the market excluding the TDP increase. You can expect a base clock of 1770 MHz, 1905 MHz game, and 2010 MHz boost. This is a massive increase from the base specifications – Base Clock: 1605 MHz, Game Clock: 1755 MHz, Boost Clock: 1905 MHz.
The closest competitors to this card are the 2070 SUPER and the 1080 TI, and it is marginally better than the RTX 2070. Being slightly slower than the 2070 SUPER (8% slower) isn’t really a big deal considering the RX 5700 XT excels in certain games (Battlefield V). Also, let’s not forget it is cheaper.
Graphics cards with three fans on paper appear to perform better however, most of them suffer from turbulence which can interfere with the cooling performance. The Sapphire RX 5700 XT solves this by having the center fan alternate in a different direction
Design
The design of the graphics card is clean and stylish, it’s great for users that value aesthetics as well as performance. Let’s not forget that this thing is huge, ensure you have enough clearance in your case to install it. At the back of the card, it has a stylish backplate which purpose is to provide extra durability as well as aesthetics to the card. In addition, the RGB lights are in fact addressable, so you have the freedom to create your own custom effects. For the outputs, it has 2xHDMI & 2xDisplayPort Ports.

This is great for 144Hz monitors which offers smoothness a 60Hz monitor couldn’t. The MSI RTX 2070 SUPER has 2560 Cuda cores clocked at 1605 MHz base and 1800 MHz boost and performance-wise, it is slightly faster than the RX 5700 XT. It also has a decent number of tensor cores of 320 which falls slightly behind the 2080 SUPER which has 384.
Besides the raw performance, the cooling performance of the MSI’s 2070 SUPER is fantastic. This is thanks to the TWIN FROZR design which is currently in its second generation and it aims to increase airflow by developing specially curved fan blades. Additionally, once all the cores reach a certain temperature, the fans will automatically switch off to minimize the noise being generated.
Design
The aesthetic design of the MSI RTX 2070 SUPER can compliment futuristic type builds due to its unique shape. Also, the TWIN FROZR design is another perfected design just like the ROG STRIX, it’s been around for some time, and it’s a perfect balance between aesthetics, cooling power, and durability. In terms of performance, the standard RX 5700 isn’t a massive overkill but instead, it offers just enough performance to get the job done. Also, it offers great performance for the price, the MSRP is $379 however, you can find cards much cheaper than that. The core clock speed comes in at 1565 MHz(base), and 1750 MHz(boost), and it has 2304 Stream processors.
The RX 5700 is best used at 1440P, while it isn’t as powerful as the XT variant, you can hit a solid 90 FPS on Battlefield V @1440P. This beats the 2060 SUPER which can achieve up to 80FPS. To reach 144Hz, you must play with the settings first, or play less intensive games. But at least you almost always achieve more than 60FPS in the latest games.
Thermally, it performs well once you adjust the fan curve. At stock settings, you’re likely to run into thermal issues which can cause throttling. However, once you adjust the fan curve, you should reach acceptable temperatures if done correctly.
Design
The design of the graphics card is quite low profile because of the all-black finish on it. Looking at the black finish, it is slightly glossy which gives it a premium look to it. Also, it lacks RGB so you cannot effectively control its looks, this is what makes it such a low-profile graphics card, and if you dislike RGB, then you should love this card. Port-wise, it has 1xHDMI & 3xDisplayPort ports.
